Here you see pictures from our '08 trip to D. C.

Carol is on the step from which MLKing
gave the "I have a dream" speech.

The highlight of D. C. for me was the
Library of Congress.

The highlight of D. C. for Carol was the Newseum

The engraving below says that eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.

How quickly we forget.

As MLKing said, it is about our character.

I Thes 2:13
For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye
heard of us, ye
received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of
God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

Victory in the Christian life |
 |
|
Are we seeing prophecy fulfilled? |
 |

Where we live is a source
of peace and privacy for us and we thank our Lord for the good exercise
and the good attitude it engenders. Here you see trees we planted
some years ago and just this spring I planted 75 more.

These two fellows have lived in our yard since
they were born.

The doe and her fawns enjoy the corn Carol gives
them each day.

The doe shown here said: "here comes the food lady"
The fawn said: "Whoopie"

Carol at the Library of Congress: a lovely lady surrounded by beauty

The engraving above speaks of believers from both the South and North
believing the same Bible and calling upon the same God to help them kill
the other.

The engraving above tells of six honest men: who, what, where, when, why
and how.
